Has your grief changed at all? Is your life becoming any easier or is it just harder as time passes? It's been a year and three months since we lost Levi. As time has passed my intense grief has subsided some. In many ways I'd say that things got easier... but they're starting to get harder again (though not nearly as hard as the early days). We recently started trying again after waiting and that seems to have sent me into a new wave of raw emotions. How do you feel when you see pregnant women when you are out and about? I used to get upset (and recently have felt a tinge of jealousy) when I saw people out. Many of our pregnant friends kept quiet about the day to day issues of their pregnancies which I was grateful for but I'd find myself drawn to their facebook/mys...

Under the Tree: March

I think Carly has started a truly wonderful way of helping us connect when much of our lives feel so disconnected to others so here's Under the Tree for March. (If you haven't been before, click on the link and see what it's about and join) Do you have a special place in your home for your baby/ies? What is it like? Do you have any rituals that you perform in memory of your baby/ies? We moved into our house after we lost Levi and so while we have a room picked as a future nursery it hasn't ever been set up specifically for him. I have pictures of Levi around the house but the main place I feel connected is in the garden. We found an elephant fountain (as it's childlike and whimsical) and it's in the center with flowers surrounding it. There are also a few memorial items that we've gotten or have been given to us that are reminders of Levi.
